This project called for a complete Renovation of the Ballroom and the Ballroom Kitchen, at the Martin Luther King Transit Center in Compton, CA. Villarruel Architects, Inc. was also responsible for a complete renovation of the existing kitchen space used for functions held in the Ballroom. The new health department approved kitchen received brand new appliances, a custom vent hood and many other health department required upgrades. Also in the scope of work was the complete Renovation of the existing Ballroom which included replacing the carpet, wallpaper, entry doors and paint in the existing space that also received extensive cleaning. Villarruel Architects, Inc. has helped to transform the Kitchen and Ballroom back into a functional space with many modern amenities required to run a successful event at the MLK Transit Center in Compton, CA.
