Description:

This project called for the design and construction of a brand new Low-Income Housing Development consisting of 25 unique apartment units spanning between 3 separate buildings on a 60,333 square foot parcel. The design consists of a Spanish style Residential Community in Thousand Oaks, CA. Today, this Residential Community consists of 3 separate buildings with a generous mix of 16 two-bedroom apartments and 9 three-bedroom apartments, along with a 1,372 square foot community space and a central laundry room. Also included in the project scope was the need for partially subterranean parking with natural ventilation. 46 covered parking spaces were provided for the Resident Parking as well as 14 uncovered spaces for Visitor Parking. The many complexities of this site, including Substantial Slope and preservation of existing Oak Trees, helped to shape this Housing Development into a unique Residential Community called Hacienda de Feliz located in the City of Thousand Oaks, CA.
